These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of all products, services, software, websites, bots, applications, APIs, and related features (collectively, the "Services") provided by CODERBLOCK CORP LLC ("CODERBLOCK CORP LLC", "CoderBlock", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using any of the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Services.
1. Definitions
- "Company" refers to CODERBLOCK CORP LLC, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, and agents.
- "User", "you", or "your" refers to any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Services.
- "Discord" refers to Discord Inc. and its related platforms and services.
- "Content" means any text, images, data, code, messages, or other material submitted, generated, or transmitted through the Services.
- "Server" refers to a Discord server (guild) where the Services are installed or used.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by law in your jurisdiction, to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet all applicable age and legal requirements and have the authority to enter into these Terms.
3. Scope of Services
CoderBlock provides automation, moderation, verification, security, analytics, and related tooling for Discord servers. The Services may include advanced join gating, verification systems, logging, anti-abuse mechanisms, dashboards, APIs, and other features that may change over time.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice.
4. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account and any credentials used to access the Services. We are not responsible for unauthorized access, compromised accounts, or actions taken through your account.
You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs through your use of the Services, including actions performed by moderators or administrators in servers you control.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes
- Bypass, disable, or interfere with security or verification mechanisms
- Attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or abuse the Services
- Use the Services to harass, threaten, or harm others
- Use the Services in violation of Discord’s Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
We reserve the right to investigate and take action against violations, including suspension or termination of access.
6. Server Ownership and Authority
By adding the Services to a Discord server, you represent that you have sufficient administrative authority to do so. Server owners and administrators are solely responsible for configuring the Services in compliance with applicable laws and platform rules.
CoderBlock does not control, moderate, or endorse any server or content within servers using the Services.
7. Data Collection and Privacy
The Services may collect and process limited data necessary to function, including user IDs, server IDs, message metadata, timestamps, and verification signals. We do not sell personal data.
Data handling practices are governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you consent to data processing as described therein.
8. Automated Decisions
Certain features of the Services operate automatically, including verification checks, join gates, and abuse prevention mechanisms. These systems may restrict, delay, or deny access to users based on configured rules or risk indicators.
CoderBlock is not responsible for false positives, access delays, or moderation outcomes resulting from automated systems.
9. Third-Party Services
The Services integrate with third-party platforms, including Discord. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, policy changes, or actions taken by those providers.
Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.
10. Fees and Payments
Some features of the Services may require payment. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time.
Failure to pay applicable fees may result in suspension or termination of access.
11. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Services, including software, branding, logos, and documentation, are owned by CODERBLOCK CORP LLC. These Terms do not grant you ownership rights.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Services without our prior written consent.
12. User Content
You retain ownership of Content you submit through the Services. By submitting Content, you grant CODERBLOCK CORP LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process and display such Content solely to provide the Services.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit such Content.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services immediately ceases.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
15. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CODERBLOCK CORP LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REPUTATION.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CODERBLOCK CORP LLC from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which CODERBLOCK CORP LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
