This Privacy Policy describes how CODERBLOCK CORP LLC ("CODERBLOCK CORP LLC", "CoderBlock", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information in connection with our products, services, software, websites, bots, APIs, and related features (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Scope and Applicability
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Services, including Discord server owners, administrators, moderators, and end users interacting with CoderBlock bots or dashboards. This Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services. The types of data we may collect include:
- Discord user IDs
- Discord server (guild) IDs
- Channel IDs and role IDs where required for configuration
- Message metadata (such as timestamps or message IDs, not message content unless explicitly required by a feature)
- Join, verification, and moderation-related event data
- Configuration settings defined by server administrators
We do not intentionally collect real names, physical addresses, phone numbers, passwords, or payment card details through the bot itself.
3. How We Use Information
We use collected information solely to:
- Provide and maintain the Services
- Operate join gates, verification flows, and anti-abuse systems
- Enforce server-configured rules and security measures
- Generate logs and audit trails for server administrators
- Diagnose issues, prevent abuse, and improve reliability
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not use collected data for advertising, profiling for marketing purposes, or sale to third parties.
4. Data Sharing and Subprocessors
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share user data with third parties or subprocessors.
All data collected by the Services is processed and stored under the control of CODERBLOCK CORP LLC. We do not provide access to user data to analytics vendors, advertising networks, or external data brokers.
Data may only be disclosed if required by law, valid legal process, or a binding governmental request, and only to the extent legally required.
5. Discord as a Platform
The Services operate on the Discord platform. Discord Inc. independently collects and processes data according to its own Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for Discord’s data handling practices, outages, or policy changes.
6. Data Retention
We retain data only for as long as necessary to provide the Services or fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. Data may be automatically deleted when it is no longer required for functionality, security, or compliance.
Server owners may remove the bot from their server at any time. Removal of the bot will result in the eventual deletion of associated server data, subject to reasonable retention periods for security and abuse prevention.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
